Official Game Review: HALO 2Bob has been entertaining a rather wild group of his Chicago friends for a marathon of the much anticipated Halo 2. His living room is hazed over in a massive cloud of smoke, and smells like a vile combination of Jack Daniels, sweat, and cheeseburgers. His big screen TV isn't going to last much longer and the subwoofer has scratched up the hard wood floors so bad that there is a layer of sawdust about a 1/4 of an inch thick. The Narley One has been playing video games since the first defender game hit the streets, back before Christ walked the earth. He calls himself, a "vidiot", and was fortunate enough to test prototype video games in the NW Suburbs of Chicago. The man is a freak for video games, and is totally addicted to his XBOX. According to Bob, this game rocks! and if he says it rocks, you better damn well believe it! I have posted his XBOX handle below. You are all officially invited to join him online and blast the hell out of everything you see. Have fun! Bob's XBOX Live Handle: Captain Kona

Bob's Official Game Review: Halo 2Halo 2 is out, and it Rocks! All other video games pale in
comparison! All hail Halo 2! Anybody who has played the Xbox knows about Halo. It's the game that set the standard for first person shooters, and in my opinion, one of the best video games ever made. From the very minute you finished Halo, you started thinking about when the talented crew at Bungie would release Halo 2. That's when the wait began. With so much hype, and a bar set so high, how could the Halo team possibly beat the original? The original Halo had it all. The best live action, a great story, phenomenal graphics, and a multi-player option that couldn't be beat. The only thing missing from Halo, was Xbox live. So we waited. and we waited.. and we waited. Meanwhile, those vidiots at Bungie were working magic, taking the game to a whole new level. Their philosophy was smart, take what works, and build upon it. Halo 2 is everything you loved in Halo times 100. You get to play both sides of the game now, the action is intense, the sound track perfect, it's the most worthy video game purchase you can make, but that's not all. The real star of Halo 2 is the multi-player, more specifically, the XBOX live. While I thoroughly enjoyed playing the campaign, the Halo 2 XBOX live experience is by far the best online multi-player game, period. You get all the classic multi-player games; Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Slayer, and Assault, and every game is fully customizable. The online menu allows for easily contacting your friends, even during match making, and a neat feature that I love is the Clan Administration. Can you say "No Lag". O my god, it's been done. A game with no lag. I have played with teams from all over the globe, and have yet to experience any lag during game play. Thank you Bungie. With so many options, the multi-player menu can get confusing. At first, the online match making process might seem a little confusing, then you realize that the game is automatically matching players with the same skill levels to the best possible match. If you want to create your own game, you need to create a "party", or a "clan". Parties and Clans have the ability to join matchmaking together, or create their own customized games. Once you learn how it works, it all makes complete sense, and works to your advantage by providing better game play. I love this game, and I bet you will too. Bottom line: Buy it! But it now! Get XBox Live! and I'll see you in Halo 2. Bob Narley
